![sick sick](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/sick.gif) Bacon's yucky. And here I am living in the one nation in the world where bacon is a condiment, and not a separate dish. No wonder this country's full of a bunch of fat fvcks.... "Hmmm...how can I make this nice heathy salad a nasty heart clogging mess? Bacon!! How can I make this greasy double cheeseburger with mayo glop even worse? Bacon!!" I hear now they have bacon salt.

So far, I've made and tried: a) Deep Fried Bacon http://www.suntimes.com/lifestyles/food/1259952,FOO-News-det05.article c) Bacon Cheese Wrap http://www.holytaco.com/if-i-die-bacon-related-death-id-it-be-becauseBoth looked WAY better than they actually tasted. I'll stick with licking the frosting on that cake....

I have been forever forbidden to make buffalo wings on Superbowl days. I literally caught the stove, cabinets, and a few other things on fire. Made the Shelton FD miss part of the game that year, but hey, I got a little print in the Daily Urinal.

Yup. Until Wednesday. Apparently France was nice and the skiing is great in the Italian Alps. Pierre said hello and thanked me for his "American Ride" and apparently Alfonso wants me to pay my damn Visa Card, as luxury suits and champagne are expensive in Italy. In retaliation, I'm holding a Stupendous Bowl Party on Sunday and going to bore a hole in the basement fridge and keep beer on tap 24x7. That'll show her who's wearing the pants in the family. Got the 1/4 barrel of Maritime Pacific Imperial IPA in the MaxiVan now! Beer will be on the C02 tap tonight when I get home. All are welcome to stop by for some beer.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

1 whole block of butter
Heat to melt. Don't burn it.
Serve with those little fish shaped crackers

Good thing you have that keg as everyone knows that beer washes cholesterol right out of your system! ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/grin.gif) GreenRiver- I'm thinking go with the unsalted butter for the butter soup. Maybe oyster crackers instead of the fish?

Mike, if beer can't fix it, it can't be fixed. ![laugh laugh](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/laugh.gif) these are possibly my two favorite pics from my trip to Ireland last spring ![wink wink](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wink.gif) Surprisingly, the Murphy's was much better than the Guinness, and I love Guinness when I'm in Ireland! Mmmmmmmmm, beeeeer.

Never had "real" Guinness. Only the crap sold in the states. Can only wonder what "real" Murphy's tastes like. The crap sold in the states is pretty god damn good! ![beer beer](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/beer.gif)
